This tool is used to generate measurements for custom sized t-copters.
The measurements are calculated based around a tricopter using the geometry of an equilateral triangle.
This means that each motor is equally spaced apart with the centre of gravity located in the exact centre between all three motors.
Use the calculator by entering either a Motor to Motor distance (M2M) or a Motor to CG distance (M2CG).
The calculator will display values for the
Rear Motor location (RM) and the
Centre of Gravity location (CG).
Both of these values are measured back along the rear arm from the front motors centre thrust line.
